Belgium is a country of 2 halves, and this gives the country a rich diversity. The northern half is the dutch influenced Flemish part, whilst the south is the French influenced Wallonia. The capital city of Brussels is notable for being the location of the European parliament, there are also some interesting museums to see here such as Magritte or Tin Tin. Those who like their Beer should also check out the Delirium cafe, a place that holds the world record for the most beers. Belgium is full of nice places to see, the one place not to miss though in Brugge.
