Gallery Light_painting_-_Gallery.html

Light painting is an exciting form of photography, and it’s relatively new. In the gallery shown here the majority of the photos are produced by changing the focal length of the lens during the exposure (a zoom burst), or by moving the camera during the exposure to “paint” light across the frame. This is also an ongoing project, and is one the started earlier than the refraction series, with this series I wanted to find a way to make the scene in front of me look even more dynamic. My hope in the future is that this work will also get the recognition that the refraction work has already received, and to this end I plan to continue to explore light painting as a way of creating fresh imagery.
